# Save posts as Text mode?

 * Is there any way to make sure that Postie saves the post as Text format? instead
   HTML format?

 * You can set the “Preferred Text Type” setting to “plain” and the “Text fallback”
   setting to “No”
 * The side effect of this setting combination is that if the email does not have
   a plain text version of the email the post will be blank.
 * If you want to extract the plain text from an html message you could create a
