 * Yes, this is indeed standard behavior for the plugin (as mentioned in the readme).
   I just don’t like plugins that leave their ‘crap’ in my WordPress install after
   deactivating it 😉
 * Sorry to hear that you lost work. Next version will have an option to keep the
   data.
