# Saving Settings

 * Howdy,
 * I am using your awesome widget and have transferred my site to a new host. After
   exporting the sql database and the wp content folder, I find that on my new WP
   installation, that all the widgets I had created are gone. Is there a way to 
   save them when changing hosts or do I just need to recreate them all?

 * Hi – i think it’s a wordpress thing. Widgets are attached to themes. My plugin
   had figured out how to save it’s widgets and reload them when a theme was changed
   to maintain continuity. I don’t know what wp in general doesn’t remember themes
   if you convert the options table and use the same theme.
 * If you converted the whole sql db then the ‘saved’ widgets should still be there
   in the options table. Possibly overwritten now by whatever you have done since.
