# Saving space

 * I am thinking about possible methods to save space. For ex. everytime a user 
   uploads a photo, the plugin creates 3 other files in the /uploads/mediapress/
   directory. Does this make really sense? What do you think about deleting the 
   original file after uploading and have only two sizes? One standard size and 
   one thumbnail?

 * Hi Georgio,
    Currently, we need all the version for different use cases. Deleting
   original will be problematic. For example, if you are using watermark, the original
   image allows to revert. I do intend to add the option for deleting(with details
   about what it may impact) in upcoming releases.
 * PS:- It is possible to deregister mid size image , but it may impact some view.
   If you need code, Please let me know. I can share it.
