Title: Scan error: PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size Last modified: February 9, 2017 --- # Scan error: PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size * [analyticcreative](https://wordpress.org/support/users/analyticcreative/) * (@analyticcreative) * [9 years, 4 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/scan-error-php-fatal-error-allowed-memory-size/) * Hi there * I am having an issue completing a scan – getting the error * Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 119799808) (tried to allocate 2621404 bytes) in [site]/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wfConfig.php on line 481 * My server details are RAM 94,5/256M • SQL 135 • PHPv 5.3.29, so I have managed to increase the RAM available. * I’ve also tried the method suggested in the Wordfence documentation and tried increasing the limit, but it still comes up with the error and sits there, stuck on that activity, with the scan summary window just stuck. * I’m not sure what else to try?! Can anyone suggest anything else to try? The site is working fine and everything is updated.
