scheduled posting not working

hi guys

my sites a movie blog and i update daily, but sometimes i have to go out so ill type a few posts up and set them up to post live at certain times so there’s some posts to read whilst im out. unfortunately the past few days i have set up around 7 posts and none of them have went live missing the scheduled time i set up for them.
I don’t know whats wrong as the setting up posts is important as im sometimes away from my laptop upto 7-8 hours at a time, any clues what i maybe doing wrong or what i can do our use?

Have you set the correct time zone under Settings?

yes im in scotland im on GMT or BST as it is now when i go into dashboard and click on post it has under the time of scheduled posting missed time 16hours or whatever the difference of the time it should have went live.

it might be a plugin or theme conflict. you’d have to disable plugins and use default theme and schedule a post then see if it gets published

This may sound stupid but I had this problem before and it was because I did not click on the OK button after setting the date and time. Stupid right?

no such thing as a stupid response, always need to try every option sometimes its the simplest things that could be the root of a problem, ill test it out to see if its that

yes , it may be happened because of your correct time zone setting as i experienced the same on my blog at http://www.watchmoviesreel.com/blog/ and got resolved this area of time zone setting . .working great!

I am having the same problem. My time is set right, but scheduled posts do go as scheduled. When I open the post after the scheduled time, and click “update” the post immediately publishes. Don’t understand, can anyone help?
