# Screen Options missing

 * When I activate the plugin 5.16.0.1 I can no longer see the Screen Options at
   the top right of the admin area. Is this be design?

 * I appreciate your patience as we continue to look into this issue. Unfortunately,
   I don’t have any updates to share at the moment. However, as a workaround, you
   can try adding the following snippet to address the issue temporarily.
 *     ```wp-block-code
       add_filter( 'tec_tickets_admin_tickets_screen_options_show_screen', '__return_true' );
       ```
   
 * If you’re not familiar with coding, you can use the [Code Snippets](https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/)
   plugin, which removes the need to add custom snippets to your theme’s functions.
   php file.

 * Confirmed deactivating the plugin fixes the issue.
 * Confirmed your code snippet added to my child theme’s functions.php resolved 
   the issue while the plugin is still enabled.

 * I’ve just landed here after nearly an hour time spent troubleshooting a site 
   with this issue. Why would you need to **globally** hide the Screen Options, 
   when it’s needed elsewhere within WordPress? It just doesn’t make sense. Please
   put pressure on this fix. Many thanks.

 * We just [released a fix](https://theeventscalendar.com/category/release-notes/)
   that solves the issue with “Screen Options” missing from the backend when Event
   Tickets is active. Please update our plugins to the latest versions to apply 
   the fix to your site.
 * If you’ve implemented any workarounds, you can safely remove them now.
 * As always, we recommend testing the updates on a staging site first and ensuring
