When I turn your plugin off in WordPress 6.0 the delay is gone. The delay occurs when I wan’t to change options in the consent form when loading the page. If you have Google Analytics, AdSense or other scripts added via Google Tag Manager on your site these do make additional https requests between your website and these services. If so the “_rest api does not respond as expected_” error you kindly shared may be the cause of any issues with the Health Check & Troubleshooting check, specifically why you can’t see the Site Kit plugin available as one of the plugins to troubleshoot. The delays you’re reporting from the scripts are not from Site Kit plugin scripts, these are service scripts, ie. The delay in the site has NOT been the error of the sitekit, something els was and still is bugging it. Came up with possible bugs in some other plugins I have contacted the developers and try to wok it out with them.
