# Script errors in the options menu?

 * Hi, I’ve just installed word press through my hosting control panel.
    Every single
   time I try to modify something like turning the smilies off, it comes up with
   awful errors and refuses to let me do it: Line: 51 Char: 7 Error: ‘null’ is null
   or not an object Code: 0 URL: [http://www.notsweet.org/wordpress/wp-admin/options.php?option_group_id=2](http://www.notsweet.org/wordpress/wp-admin/options.php?option_group_id=2)

   download a beta build and upgrade now.

 * I have the newest version and it still does the same thing for me in all my admin
   pages…someone help plz
