# Script not updating

 * Can anyone help?
 * I have a script that was working fine but has now stopped updating – I am not
   sure exactly when the ‘updating’ stopped occurring, so cannot relate it to any
   specific plugin added or changes to htaccess etc. The java script plugin pulls
   data from my ‘supplier’ – I don’t it is a problem with their end as I use the
   same script on another website and it is working fine.

    the date should
   be updating to be today… the date shown for me is Friday 28th…
 * This is the one that is working…

   better results so its developers can help you with this:

 * This script was working fine for a couple of years and hasn’t been changed – 
   I am sure it is a caching problem – as when clearing browser cache it resolves
   the problem – but for any user visiting the website the date on the search box
   will be wrong… the browser cache shouldn’t need to be cleared to update it…
 * could it be a caching setting in htaccess?
