# Scripts are loaded

 * Hello, prismtechstudios. Explain why it is impossible to make the scripts of 
   the plugin not loaded on pages where it is not needed? After all, this creates
   additional load on the server.
 * Why can not these scripts be removed from pages where it is not used?
 * /wp-content/plugins/modern-footnotes/modern-footnotes.min.js?ver=1.3.2

 * Thanks for checking. I believe it should be possible to make this change, so 
   I’ve logged an issue for it in GitHub at [https://github.com/seankwilliams/modern-footnotes/issues/13](https://github.com/seankwilliams/modern-footnotes/issues/13).
   I’ll update this thread when the change is ready!
