   so if AO is disabled you probably have a page cache you need to clear.

 * disabling AO is just that; clicking on “deactivate” in the WordPress plugin.
 * as far as clearing cache is concerned; you’d need to clear whatever page cache
   you have running (could be local plugin, could be caching proxy at your hoster,
   could be a 3rd party service such as cloudflare or sucuri, ..).
 * to fix script errors while using AO; have a look at the troubleshooting tips
