 * You won’t loose anything just by switching from Joomla to WordPress.
 * The main key is to keep all of your URL’s the same. If you can’t do that make
   sure that you have 301 redirects in place for them all (which is easy with various
   plugins that are available).
 * One thing to remember is that any large-scale change on any website will take
   it down in rankings for a short time while Google re-assesses everything. There’s
   nothing that anyone can do about that. All it takes it a bit of time and if you’ve
   followed basic SEO procedures, you’ll be back up where you were fairly quickly.

 * Hi Babonday,
 * Here’s a [guide](https://www.elegantthemes.com/blog/resources/migrating-joomla-to-wordpress-a-step-by-step-guide)
   I found on migrating from Joomla to WordPress on ElegantThemes. I hope this helps.
   I agree with everything catacaustic said, make sure your URL’s are the same,
   and that you’re following [good WordPress SEO](https://themeisle.com/blog/get-started-with-wordpress-seo/)
   and you should be golden.
 * Best,
    Marcus
