# Search function missing on mobile version

 * The search function appears on the header line on the desktop version but not
   on the mobile version. It does not appear in the drop down list.

 * You will also need to add the Search element to the Mobile Header. Otherwise,
   it won’t show up on the Mobile Header. In case you haven’t checked it already,
   this [doc](https://wpastra.com/docs/create-mobile-header-with-header-builder/)
   will tell you more how to create Mobile Header using Astra Header Builder.

 * Hi – I’m really confused. I have read the article but I can’t find the header
   builder option. I can see all the customize options but not the builder. What
   am I missing?

 * Sorry, for the confusion. It seems you are still using the old Header/Footer,
   not the Header Footer Builder (HFB).
 * Could you please share a [screenshot](https://wordpress.org/support/forum-user-guide/faq/#can-i-include-screenshots-or-videos)
   of the `Primary Menu` section of the Customizer?
