# Search function problem

 * Hello, I have problems with the search function. With other themes it works fine,
   but when I activate Elegant Magazine I get “Nothing Found” all the time, no matter
   what word I search for. I even have reinstalled the theme but can’t get it to
   work with the search function. Can anyone help please?

 * Oh, wait. I just realized that it’s only not searching the pages. When an article
   is posted, the search engine works fine. So how do I make the theme search in
   pages too? Any suggestions?

 * Hello there,
    As the theme only offers search results for posts only, if you 
   tend to add pages on that, you need to customize the search query using child
   theme approach. Best regards
