I’ve been looking for a very long time how to come up with a means to display posts on a certain day – Aug. 21, for example, but spanning all years. The site I’m building features Medal of Honor citations (the posts are dated to match the date the medal was earned) and I would like readers to be able to see what actions occurred on this day. Is this possible?

I tried the TDIH plugin, but it won’t link to posts – you have to create “events” in the admin panel and when I’m dealing with hundreds of posts, that would not work. But thank you.

Ideally, I would like a bit of code I could enter so the page displays the posts for a certain category that have a particular date as the published date. Hopefully this makes sense.
