 * Hello,
 * i’m a long time user of your plugin, before renewing my suscription, i have a
   problem i can’t seem to be able to solve (not with the past version), and i don’t
   know if the actual version allows for this parameter:
   In the “search shortcode
   form” (or search shortcode widget for the homepage), is there a way to allow
   the clients to select a pricing option ? We have a buisness where every object
   have different princing options (price type), but not being able to select it
   at the beginning of the process means the selection of each object the people
   want to rent is lenghtly and not very simple.
 * I thank you in advance for your help !
   Best whishes Pélican

 * Hello Pélican,
 * Thanks for your message. We understand the situation, and the price types can
   be configured at item-level with our plugin by simply defining some rental costs
   for the various lengths of rentals through the “Fares Table” page.
 * This means that you can have different rate plans (types of price) for your items/
   objects, but the choice of the price type for a specific rental item will only
   be available during the booking process, in the step right after the search results
   if booking through a global search form, or if booking through the item/object
   details page, the page showing the price types and any eventual extra service
   will actually be the first step of the booking process (search results would
   be skipped).
 * The only filter available for the “Search Form”, both Shortcode and Widget/Block,
   is the one for the categories. This filter could be enabled from the Configuration
   page of Vik Rent Items, and the search results would only display the selected
   category of rental items/objects. Unfortunately, filtering the search results
   by rate plan (price type) is not allowed, because the search forms do not allow
   to choose a price type, whose list could vary depending on your rental cost settings.
 * Our suggestion in this case is to play with the Categories. Your rental items
   can be assigned to one or multiple categories, which could be used as a filter
   on any “Search Form”.
 * We hope this helps!
