 * Hello,
 * Trying to use the ‘Other Notes’ search on this page:
 * [http://www.dadsofdestiny.net/clan-connection-testlist/](http://www.dadsofdestiny.net/clan-connection-testlist/)
 * I simply want to filter the list using the submit=search like so:
 * [http://www.dadsofdestiny.net/clan-connection-testlist/?search_field=specifc_console&value=Xbox%20360&submit=search](http://www.dadsofdestiny.net/clan-connection-testlist/?search_field=specifc_console&value=Xbox%20360&submit=search)
 * But the results never update. The page is a basic template with no alterations
   or filters merely the [pdb_list] shortcode on the page.
 * Ultimately I want to provide a form at the top that basically resubmits the page
   with specific variables to adjust the list.
 * I wasn’t sure I could ‘pre-filter’ the page using the [pdb_list] options as well
   as submit a search as the ‘Other Notes’ said simply the page with the [pdb_list]
   on it.
 * Any help or advice you could provide would be appreciated.

 * You can always use the “filter” attribute to set up a basic filter for the list.
   Incoming searches will only affect the field named in the search.
 * To do a search using a URL, you need to include the operator:
 * [http://www.dadsofdestiny.net/clan-connection-testlist/?search_field=specifc_console&value=Xbox%20360&operator=like&submit=search](http://www.dadsofdestiny.net/clan-connection-testlist/?search_field=specifc_console&value=Xbox%20360&operator=like&submit=search)

 * I’ll give that a try, it wasn’t listed that way on the notes.
 * Let’s see how this works.

 * Like a champ! Now I just have to figure out how to implement my form!
