# Searchable database

 * I really appreciate the help. I am new to Word Press, trying to find my way. 
   I am trying to make something on my website that searches in a database on my
   WordPress. I created a form where I enter data on my website. Please tell me 
   if there is a free plugin I can install or something I can do where I can search
   using it through a name, number or anything in such a database or if there is
   anything else I can do a video link that can help me.

 * It might be worthile looking into plugins such as Relevanssi, [https://wordpress.org/plugins/relevanssi/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/relevanssi/)
   or Ajax Search Lite, [https://wordpress.org/plugins/ajax-search-lite/#description](https://wordpress.org/plugins/ajax-search-lite/#description).
   Another option might be Ivory Search.

 * Thank you for your reply. This is a general search engine in fact. What I aim
   at is like building a database and people can get into my website, put a first
   name, last name and then find the number. Do you have a video or any other example?

 * I’m not sure of anything like that as a WordPress plugin – as it’s not really
   searching WordPress, it’s searching the database. Unfortunately, I don’t know
   the answer to this.
