 * Hello all,
 * Is there a plugin that will allow me to search a mysql db, using certain fields,
   and then displaying the results either on the same page or in a new window/page?
   What I’m trying to achieve is similar to whats under “Search Your Loan” in this
   link;

 * For something this specific i would recommend contacting a wordpress developer.
   i recommend this because, you want to make sure that the security of the data(
   ie stuff in your database) is safe. as a developer myself i would not see this
   as a complicated project, but this way you could make it exactly how you would
   like it to work instead of using plugins to force/hack it to work.
