# second install problem

 * I have a wordpress site running and I tried to install a second blog on a subdomain.
   I created a second database and the second install allows me as far as logging
   in but didnt give me any page to set a user name and password so the login jumps
   out of the subdomain and back to the root sites login. Here are the steps I took.
 * Downloaded WP 3.2.1
 * Created new MYSQL database on my server
 * unpacked WP and configured wp-config with my server details.
 * In the folder created by my control pannel, I copied all of the WP files to the
   folder
 * In a browser I typed subdomain.maindomain.com/wp-admin/install.php
 * The isntall is telling me its done however, logging in to its dashboard is impossible
   as I don¡t have a user name or password to login with and the ones I used for
   the database don’t work, the ones I use for the main domain obviously take me
   to the main domains dashboard.
 * Can anyone shed some light into what I have done wrong?

 * I found the answer at this WP site. I used the edit database method to correct
   the URL which I had not set to the subdomain url.
