 * Is there a way to secure a file? I disabled direct linking and set explicit permissions,
   but the address of the file is still open to anyone and crawled by Google.

 * It’s secure. The file might stay in your Browsers cache. Try another browser.
   
   If the file ic crawled once by google, it takes some time to remove it. You can
   also request a removal from Google and at the Download URLS to your robots.txt.
