# Security Issue?

 * Recently I installed Mailoptin on of my sites, features are great and awesome
   plugin. No doubt on that. Unfortunately, the sites installed with Mailoptin got
   attacked and I received 4k mails in 4 hrs because of that. Is there any way to
   protect Mailoptin forms like recaptcha or something…?

 * It’s now live but it’s only available on the paid version [https://mailoptin.io/article/adding-google-recaptcha-wordpress-form/](https://mailoptin.io/article/adding-google-recaptcha-wordpress-form/)
 * We’ve however added honeypot check to prevent spam on the free version that will
   be live in the next update.
