My shortcode looks like this:

[display-posts post_type="page" post_parent="56" image_size="large" excerpt_more="See more" excerpt_more_link="true"]

I need to show page thumb, title and link “see more”. All my pages are build on page builder so there is no text in default WP editor. My “see more” link is not showing on listing, how to fix it?

I’m sorry, but the excerpt_more text only appears at the end of an excerpt that has been truncated. If you have no excerpt, there’s no excerpt_more text displayed either.

I recommend you use the output filter to add a read more link to the end of the shortcode output. Here’s a tutorial walking you through using this filter: https://www.billerickson.net/code/using-display-posts-shortcode-output-filter/

ok, no problem I made it with template-parts sub-folder, and get_pages: https://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Function_Reference/get_pages
