Seeking to display multiple recent post slides simultaneously

I’ve installed the responsive recent post slider plugin. I’m trying to emulate the “In Depth” slideshow feature on this homepage: http://www.middleeasteye.net/

Is it possible to display the slider showing multiple small slides of several posts running across the screen simultaneously? So far I’m only seeing a single slide displaying at a time.

Also, I’d like to display slides of the 5 most recently published posts. What settings would I use to do this?
