    Then why does it check update everytime I visit plugin page?

    My goal is avoid checking update for set time.

    One more thing, just a quick heads up, I seen below log

    date_default_timezone_set(): Timezone ID '+05:30' is invalid
    For wp-content/plugins/companion-auto-update/companion-auto-update.php:262 after visiting plugin settings
