Hi Anaïs,
Thanks a lot for your kind words and for using the plugin 😊
Your suggestion makes complete sense. We’ll add an option to choose which post categories should be included in the filter, so you’ll be able to show only your “hiking” posts and exclude the “news” ones.
We’ll also add settings to change the “Read More” and “Show More” button labels so you can translate them easily.
I’ll work on this and try to release an update within the next 2–3 days.
Thanks again for the feedback!
Regards,

Hi Nirav!
Thank you so much for your reply. I’ve been looking for a free and attractive filter for my hikes for years without any luck… So I’m really happy to have found your plugin ! 😊
Thank you for the upcoming updates. Ideally, if it’s possible for you, I’d like the option to select one or more categories to include in the filter (and thus the unselected categories would be excluded). That would allow me to use it on other pages of my site!
I use another plugin that lets you select categories and tags using their WordPress IDs. Maybe that would be a possibility for you too?
Thanks again, and happy coding!
I’m in no rush to get the update. Take the time you need!

Hi Anaïs,
Thank you so much for your kind words and support!
I’m really happy to hear that the plugin is useful for your hiking website.
Good news — in the latest update, I’ve already added include/exclude post support, and also improved category selection options in the filter settings.
For the next update, I’m planning to add include/exclude support specifically for categories and taxonomies as well, so you’ll be able to control exactly which categories appear in the filter. Using WordPress IDs is definitely a good approach, and I’ll most likely implement something similar.
Thanks again for the great suggestion and your patience.
Happy hiking and happy coding!
