# select Data Source not working

 * Hello. Unfortunately I cannot create a chart. When selecting the data source (
   wpDataTable Data Source) nothing is shown to me. I have created a test chart.
   Do you have a solution? Thanks for the help. Greetings bebo

 * Datasource is not working on my site as well. I received the following error:
   Error
    You are trying to load a table of an unknown type. Probably you did not
   activate the addon which is required to use this table type. It is activated 
   but not working properly.

 * Sorry for inconvenience,
 * We assume that you are trying to create a chart from a simple table. If that 
   is true then that is not possible at the moment. You can find limitations of 
   this table in our docs on this [link](https://wpdatatables.com/documentation/creating-new-wpdatatables-with-table-constructor/creating-a-simple-table-with-wpdatatables/)
   
   In lite version you are able to create tables from all other available table 
   types(tables created from Excel, CSV, JSON, XML or PHP serialized array)
