Hi,
How can I set a required SELECT field default to blank

default 0 does not work
using default 1 2 3 etc I can choose one of the options, but I want none to initially be selected.

The previous version allowed me to have the default as no selection

Hi bristow please read the following quoted by @mike Challis in his website…..

The first option of a select field type can be in brackets to indicate that it must be selected,
example:
[Please select]
Red
Green
Blue
