# Select Option HTML element

 * Hello,
 * I’m currently building my site and I ran across a problem in which I can’t seem
   to figure out. I want to add a select and option HTML tag on a page. The select
   tag should have a submit button and when pressed should lead to the option selected
   which I want to make other pages on the site. I was wondering if this could be
   done with a plugin or do I have to hard-code it? I’m not as savvy when it comes
   to coding so all the help is appreciated.

 * Unless you have a specific reason for the `select` tag to NOT be inside a `form`
   tag, then you can easily do this with any of the [many form builder plugins](https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/form+builder/)
   out there.

 * Do you know if I could possibly redirect a user to a certain page based on the
   answer they provide on the select form tag. I want to redirect them to the page
   they select on the form. However, I can’t seem to figure this part out. Thank
   you.
