Selecting a design area

Good day,

This an amazing and beautiful plugin, but I have a problem, when I need to select an area which is wide like a sidebar area, it shows the hashed background which shows the needed area, but the edit icon is in the middle, so if I move the mouse it shows another area which is over-lapping, for this I cannot select the area I want to select, so I suggest other ways to select the correct one like:

Instead of mouse over selection, mouse over can be used to show the area and a click to select that will make the edit icon remains in place in order to be selected.

On the other hand, it is somehow slow when making changes and when saving, is there anything that can be done to speed it up.
