Self hosted site does not accept new subscribers error

    Hi all,

    I really need some help with this issue: I can’t import new subscribers using the jetpack plugin it says “The site does not accept subscriptions.” I have checked the settings and it allows for subscriptions. I’m on a self hosted website. I don’t know if this is a potential bug or something else.
