# Self hosted wordpress

 * I have a self hosted wordpress. Why must I have a wordpress.com account to use
   the mobile app? I’m confused.

 * I’ve used the app in the past and have never needed a wordpress.com account.
   
   On iOS I can choose a link at the bottom to Login by entering me website address.
 * I am unsure if Android version is different but i suspect it would have something
   similar
