# selling WordPress-based CMS

 * I’m thinking about modifying WordPress, turning it into a CMS, and selling the
   resulting system.
 * My question to you is: Can I completely remove the WordPress name from my product?
   Or does WordPress need to be credited somewhere?

 * I was aware that I was able to sell GPL licensed software.
 * I;m still not sure whether or not I have to credit WordPress in the code or elsewhere,
   in my modified version. Is this a requirement or not?

 * And GPL also states that any single user who buys the package can freely distribute
   it. Just as a reminder.
