# Send admin notification when user changes password

 * I’m seeing email notifications going to users when they change their passwords.
 * I also understand that WordPress default behavior is to send a notification to
   the site administrator. However this is not happening. I’m assuming this is because
   this plugin is handling the password resets now.
 * Is there a way to ALSO get an email send to a site administrator?

   Yes, both 
   the WordPress default system and the User Registration plugin send an email notification
   to users when they change their password.
 * However, WordPress does not send an email notification to the site administrator
   when a user updates their password. By default, WordPress only notifies the admin
   when a new user is created or when a user’s email address is changed. So, this
   behavior is not something the plugin has altered—it simply follows WordPress’s
   standard policy.
 * The main reason for not sending password change notifications to administrators
   is due to user privacy and data protection policies.
