# “Send Email” processing time

 * Love the plugin! Just installed today. Unfortunately, I’m seeing an average processing
   time of 25 – 30 seconds after clicking “Send Email.” Using the latest version
   template for “Avada” and have the current version of WP running.
 * Please advise. Thanks.

 * I see the issue.
 * Can you do a quick test, switch to a default WP theme ( TwentySeventeen for example)
   and try the contact form to see how long it takes. Then switch back to Avada.
 * If it’s still slow on TwentySeventeen then it’s an issue with the plugin and 
   we’ll figure out what’s causing it.

 * For the time being, we’ve decided to use Avada’s own built-in contact form.

 * You’re welcome. If you decide to go back to the plugin let me know and we’ll 
   figure out what’s going on.
 * Something you could try out is switching to PHP’s mail instead of WordPress wp_mail(),
   it’s under General Options in WP admin > Settings > Contact Form. That would 
   be the first thing to try out if it turned out it’s still slow with the default
   WP theme.

 * Hello Developer,
 * Thanks for the plugin. Liked it and wanted to stick with it, but I having a similar
   issue.
 * I tried both (WP & PHP mail) but I get nothing (no e-mail period). I am also 
   using a different theme.
 * In the meantime, I found another contact plugin here and will use that until 
   you are able to resolve the issue.

    1. Emails are sent out fine with the other plugin you found?
    2. Which other plugin is it?
    3. Could you perhaps activate our plugin and add the contact form on some page 
       and send over the URL, I’d like to try it out, might give me a clue as to what
       is going on

 * Hi,
 * For whatever reason, I did get the e-mail this time. I tried it myself and got
   the e-mail as well.
 * So it appears all is well. I can’t explain what was happening initially.
 * With that resolve, it would be nice if the plugin could improve the math challenge
   feature. I like the one in the other plugin. It presents a new math challenge
   after each sent e-mail. It does this automatically.
