# Send message error

 * Hi,
 * I find a strange thing.
 * I can send message via one form, but cannot send via another form. The error 
   message is “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again 
   later.” with red border.
 * I read the document that it said contact form uses wp_mail to send emails. When
   it fails, it will report the red error.
 * However, why one form can send while the other cannot?

 * OK.

 * And a simliar form returns OK is at [https://www.datanumen.com/submit-testimonial/](https://www.datanumen.com/submit-testimonial/)
 * Both on the same domain, installed on the same WP instance.

 * I get a OK Return on both forms.

 * With the first one, [https://www.datanumen.com/contact/](https://www.datanumen.com/contact/),
   for most of the time, I wiill fail and see the following error:

 * In rare cases, I will succeed. So I think there is a problem with it.

 * You use [@test](https://wordpress.org/support/users/test/).com which is not taken
   as a free email so your message is sent successfully. If using email such as 
   [test@outlook.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/send-message-error-2/test@outlook.com?output_format=md),
   then you will fail.
