# Sentry Logs

 * Hi,
 * would it be possible to extend this excellent plugin with logs? It would be great
   to have a way to utilize the Logs feature from Sentry ([https://docs.sentry.io/product/explore/logs/](https://docs.sentry.io/product/explore/logs/))
   so I can see not only errors, but also notices from WP and Woo (mostly saved 
   in `wc-logs`).
 * Or is this out of the plugin’s scope and such feature should be a separate thing,
   like a separate logger for WooCommerce logger?

 * I was not aware that some plugins have some form of logging, this makes sense
   of course in hindsight but it might be helpful to start mapping out if there 
   are ways for us to capture these logs and forward them to Sentry.

 * Support for WooCommerce logs has been requested before: [https://github.com/stayallive/wp-sentry/discussions/166](https://github.com/stayallive/wp-sentry/discussions/166).
   Maybe a good idea to continue the discussion there if you are on GitHub and see
   what we can find out and implement? I wouldn’t be against having this integrated
   in the plugin itself, doing this as a separate plugin seems like it might be 
   a hassle.

 * During the weekend I put something together, when it’s at least staging ready
   I’ll put a comment with a link to the repo. My approach is to extend Woo loggers
   and allow user to select Sentry instead of files/mails/db. Most of the stuff 
   works, but I need to double-check ..

   like to tackle.
