SEO-Analyse does not load
-
When writing a new message / blog, the SEO-Analyse keeps loading and does not open. This has been since 2 days now. Because of this I am not able to check what issues appear or change them. Have reloaded the page multiple times and also disactivated the plugin and activated again but it still appears.
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

We’re sorry that you are experiencing problems that might be caused by our plugin!
Just to be sure, we would like to rule out any plugin or theme conflicts that may occur. The fastest way to do this is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Nineteen.
Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check without affecting normal visitors to your site.
As we can imagine that you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts.
Hello
I seem to have the same issue.
Working with a portfolio post. I can only see this on the page, not the full Yoast SEO:
https://snipboard.io/SN4l1a.jpg
What I have tried already:
– changed the theme to twentyninteen
– deactivated all plugins
– deactivated and reactivated Yoast SEO
– tried a different browser (safari instead of firefox)
– emptied cache
Nothing has worked.
Any advice is much appreciated 🙂Please check the browser console for JavaScript errors.
Hello, thank you for your information.
I tried all options you provided and also installed the Health Check plugin.
Still I am not able to find where the problem comes from and I am not able to use Yoast SEO correctly. Is there something else I can try?Did you use the troubleshooting mode in the Health Check plugin? It allows you to temporarily disable all plugins and switch to a default theme for testing purposes. In that default environment, activate only Yoast SEO and see if the analysis loads.
Did you check for Javascript errors?
Are you using a supported browser version? If so, which browser and version are you using? What browsers and versions does Yoast support?
Thank you for the info so far.
I have tried to look for Javascript errors in Firefox, this is what I got:\https://snipboard.io/1GzimP.jpgI’m using firefox 74.0.1 (64-bit). I see Yoast only supports earlier versions, but Firefox says it is unsafe to go back to older versions.
Also tried with Safari, Analyser still does not load. This is what I get:
https://snipboard.io/7xRPIJ.jpg
Using Safari Version 13.1
Again, you offer 11.1 safari, I see.
But I cannot go back.So what would you recommend? Surely, I’m not the only one using current versions of browsers. So wondering what can be wrong?
Thank you for trying to help 🙂ok, just figured it out. it works with Chrome!!!
version: 80.0.3987.163BUT
I really would like to use firefox… – for obvious reasons…
What do you recommend?@sylvia999 Thanks for confirming you were able to get the SEO analysis to load when using Chrome. Regarding Firefox, we checked on a test site and confirmed that we were able to load the SEO analysis when using version 74.0.1 (see image here). Can you please let us know what operating system and version you are using?
@sylvia999 Before getting to your issue, please open a new request in the future when you have a similar issue to one that is posted. That way it’s easier to track issues and provide assistance. Plus it’s the recommended process for the WordPress forums (learn why here).
On to the issue, the
SyntaxError: nothing to repeaterror causes the blank meta box. A so-called “bug report” (a description of the issue, so we can fix it) is filed already with our development team. From our testing, it appears to be caused by a custom field that contains unexpected characters, for example(+).What’s next?
Our product team will assess the severity of this problem in relation to other open bug reports and new features. Based on their assessment, the bug report will be given a priority. Our developers work on the highest priority issues first. Unfortunately, this means we cannot give you an estimate when they’ll start working on your report. The workaround, for now, is to use Chrome while our development team works on it.
