 * I have the plugin Tablepress (which is brilliant) – you just simply add a small
   code to a post or page for a table, and the browser will produce the data assigned
   to the code.
 * The table is created in the admin area. Every time you edit the table, the contents
   of the table is changed on the page where the code has been inserted.
 * This is brilliant for adding fresh information on the fly, such as sales campaigns
   and the like.
 * My question is, although the code is only about 13 characters, would a search
   engine only ‘read’ the code, or would it read the data that has been added in
   the admin side?
 * I have read somewhere that search engines love generated feeds, which is basically
   what tablepress is.
 * Hope I’ve explained this okay.
 * Would appreciate your thoughts as obviously, I don’t know a lot about how search
   engines capture the data.

 * Open your site in a web browser Lynx. Whatever it shows is visible and indexed
   by search engines.

 * Hi Jennifer,
 * thanks for your question.
 * Search engines will see the resulting table, and not the Shortcode. So, they
   will index the content in the table just fine 🙂
 * Best wishes,
    Tobias

 * Love your plugin Tobias, thanks for your response. I now think Tablepress is
   even better!

 * Hi! SEO by Yoast is not recognizing the content of my tables. I keeps saying
   I have no pictures and not copy in the copy area, it is all on the table. Is
   there something I can enter to make the SEO see that my information is in the
   table?

 * Hi,
 * unfortunately, no. As described in the other thread at [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/seo-recognizing-content-stored-on-tables](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/seo-recognizing-content-stored-on-tables)
   this is just a consequence of how Shortcodes work.
 * Best wishes,
    Tobias
