Thank you for contacting us.
If your post/page has generated links or incoming links, it counts as internal links already. Do you see the internal links generated on your site thru our Dashboard? If so, it is generated correctly, however, since our plugin is only showing these links on the front end, so SEOpress is might not able to read the links generated by our plugin.
Currently, we don’t have an option for you to fix this issue as this is a SEOpress function that reads internal links on a post. You can also try to reach out to SEOpress regarding this topic.
Let us know if you need more help.
Thank you
Hi,
Benjamin from SEOPress here.
We scan your post_content from your database to find links.
This might explains the issue.
Hope that helps!
Thank you @rainbowgeek , that would explain this issue, as we only apply our links into the front-end thru filters, this is for our plugin to avoid editing/updating the user’s original content, making our links dynamic, and easy to update.
Thank you

@markilj @rainbowgeek, so is there a fix for this, or does it just stay the way it is now. I’m not complaining or anything. I just noticed it the other day about SEOpress not detecting the internal links.

Currently, it seems that our plugin’s features and functionality are not exactly that match, so there is no way for SEOpress to detect our internal link as of now.
Thank you
