 * Hi guys,
 * The plugin looks great. Just wondering if it uses separate database tables, or
   if it’s using custom post types? Also, will the way you are doing queries benefit
   from the Redis cache plugin + redis server?
 * Thanks!

 * Hi [@menathor](https://wordpress.org/support/users/menathor/),
 * Thank you for your interest in wpForo and for contacting us!
 * wpForo doesn’t use custom post types. The topics and posts are not stored in
   wp_posts table, wpForo has its own tables for topics ( _wpforo_topics) and posts(
   _wpforo_posts).
 * The wpForo has built-in forum cache system, you should not enable other cache
   plugins for the forum page. There is no cache plugin which may do better cache
   for wpForo than the built-in cache.
