# separate folder?

 * the readme says that wordpress is designed to sit in the root folder. how do 
   i modify it to work in a subfolder while keeping the blog in the root folder?

 * Just create a folder on your server and install wordpress into that as if you
   wereinstalling it into the root folder of your server but make sure in the b2config.
   php file you put the folder name in the $siteurl bit

 * I wouldn’t do that yet. With b2, there were several files you have to modify 
   to get everything to work. I upgraded my b2, without making the code changes,
   and posting works, but I haven’t tested anything else. If there are any changes
   that need to be made to get all the features to work, then I think it would be
   nice if the developers would put instructions in the readme.

 * I haven’t looked at this yet, but it’s something I did when I used b2 and would
   be interested in doing again. Can you not make the changes in the templates to
   point them to the subfolder as you could with b2?

 * i tried but was completely lost. when i changed b2, i had found a forum post 
   that explained which files needed the changes. since i have little experience
   with php beyond using b2, wordpress is a bit overwhelming right now. if someone
   could tell me what exactly needs to be changed, or come up with an easy fix for
   it, i would be most grateful.

 * That’s the one. I wrote it, and all the features that I use work with those modifications.
   I am not sure that trackback, pingback, the calandar work, since I don’t use 
   those.
