 * [http://littleshopsboutique.com/wordpress/](http://littleshopsboutique.com/wordpress/)
   is running on one installation of WP and the Simplr theme.
 * [http://lianamir.com/](http://lianamir.com/) is running on a separate installation
   of WP and the Comet theme.
 * Folder tree on server is like this:
 * lianamir folder
    htaccess file for lianamir littleshopsboutique folder >> wordpress
   folder htaccess file for littleshopsboutique
 * I was editing lianamir today without being logged in to littleshopsboutique,
   then went over to littleshopsboutique and found it pulling the colors and header
   image from lianamir! I’m not sure HOW they can even overlap.
 * Both themes in their installations’ folders seem find. I open the CSS for Simplr
   and it says it has a white #fff background. :headdesk:

 * CSS cannot “overlap” between two completely separate installations. My guess
   is that you simply edited the wrong CSS.

 * I know nothing about editing css. I have edited neither css. I merely activated
   a theme, chose options, and now, the colors of one are showing on the other.
   It’s freaking me out.
 * I don’t know anything about coding at all, so the only code I messed with was
   to copy/paste the snippet from someone else’s code to create a home.php that
   only showed one category. Comet doesn’t even show where it pulls css on that
   file.
 * Very confused.

 * Have you tried removing that file from the theme?

 * I do wish I knew where it _pulled_ the css in the files so I could actually see
   if it’s pulling the wrong links somehow. But like I said, I know nothing about
   coding. Thus, I’m over here asking how I can even check for where the problem
   is.

 * The two sites are not overlapping or affecting each other in any way. Try deleting
   the user-meta plugin on [http://littleshopsboutique.com/wordpress/](http://littleshopsboutique.com/wordpress/)
