 * Hello,
 * It’s probably a common question, I’m sure someone already asked it, but since
   I need to describe what I want, because it’s not evident, I have no idea with
   which search keyword could I find it.
 * My blog should have 2 distinct sections: one for news, and one for quotes I collect(
   quotes should be posted in distinct posts so I can categorize them). I can separate
   quotes from news by setting up categories. But it’s not a perfect solution, because
   when someone visits my site, it shows all kind of posts in the posts page. –
   I don’t want the viewer to ever see a page where news and quotes are mixed.
 * Basically, I’d like to have 2 distinct “latest posts” page for news and quotes,
   and the viewer could select from the menu in the header. But as I see, I can
   only have one “latest posts” page, and then a bunch of static pages – however
   I need 2 dynamic pages.
 * I hope I described the problem well. :/
 * Thanks for your help,
    MegaBrutal

 * Use a static front page (Settings->Reading) so you don’t ‘show’ posts at that
   post.
 * If you are using the Twenty Ten theme then just create your menu with those two
   categories.
 * If that’s not possible, then install and activate [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/page-links-to/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/page-links-to/)
   and create two Pages for your two categories and in each link to the category
   archive (url)–essentially the technique described in [How to easily display links to both Pages and Categories in the blog navigation header?](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Layout_and_Design#How_to_easily_display_links_to_both_Pages_and_Categories_in_the_blog_navigation_header.3F)
