# Separating Posts in Dashboard

 * I’m wondering if it is possible, wether their is a function or even a plugin 
   for this.
 * I have a whole load of Posts that relate to a member profile. I would like within
   the admin area to separate these posts from the other posts, maybe a new menu
   item on the left with it’s own posts area?
 * Does anyone know if this possible?

 * [http://webdevstudios.com/plugin/custom-post-type-ui/](http://webdevstudios.com/plugin/custom-post-type-ui/)
 * to a new custom post type for these member profiles and then use
 * [http://wordpress.org/plugins/convert-post-types/](http://wordpress.org/plugins/convert-post-types/)
 * for converting existing posts to this new post type.
 * If you want to display these, you will have to create new templates in theme.
