# Sermon search shortcode

 * I am trying to include a search function on our sermon page using the shortcode[
   sermon_sort_fields] but it doesn’t seem to work.
 * When you select options on the drop down menus nothing happens. Am I missing 
   something obvious?

 * I meant also to say, bizarrely the search function works when the page is in 
   draft format, just not once it has been published.

 * I’m also experiencing the same issue. Accessing sermons via the archive (/sermons)
   works fine, but accessing them when placed on a Page as a shortcode, I get exactly
   the same result as [@beckythomas46](https://wordpress.org/support/users/beckythomas46/).
 * I couldn’t find a way around this. For now, I’ve reverted back to SermonBrowser,
   hopefully temporarily.
