    Hi,

    I have recently been getting reports from Cloudflare stating that the CPU usage has increased. My hosting checked of me with WP-CLI and they reported that some cron jobs were running amok. They recommended disabling the WordPress default cron and setting up their own hosting specific version:

    I see that Woo recommends something similar:

    My question is. Can this potentially delay the sending of email notifications when orders are placed.

    I read a bit about this from some of the other support posts. There was mention that new versions of Action Scheduler should mitigate against this. Is this true?

    Email actions are usually scheduled so if previous cron schedules don’t run, the emails may not go out of the host as they will be pending.

    Ans yes, action scheduler can help in this case
