# Server Error with WordPress – Help Please!!!!

 * Hi, I’m using wordpress CMS on [http://www.weltonmanorgolfcentre.co.uk](http://www.weltonmanorgolfcentre.co.uk)
   which has been working fine up until a few days ago.
 * When I login to try and update doucuments I get this error upon submitting the
   updates in the admin system.
 * Authorization Required – This server could not verify that you are authorized
   to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (
   e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn’t understand how to supply the credentials
   required. – Apache/1.3.33 Server at [http://www.weltonmanorgolfcentre.co.uk](http://www.weltonmanorgolfcentre.co.uk)
   Port 80
 * I’ve tried sorting this out through wordpress but have had no joy and suspect
   that it may be down to the server itself rather than the software thats working
   on it.
 * However I’ve asked my web host and he cannot work out where the error is coming
   from either. Also it only happens on a few pages within the site.
 * Does anybody have any idea what this error could mean and have a solution please?

 * Could be a problem with your proxy server (talk to your IT department or try 
   another computer. Or you have a directory password protected (talk to your host).
   Or something is amiss in your web-server (e.g. apache) configuration (talk to
   your host).

 * Thanks Michael, at least I know where i should go to get this sorted. Sorry, 
   didn’t mean to shout, just wanted to be noticed as my host keeps avoiding the
   issue. Is there anybody you can recommend if I can’t get this sorted and how 
   do I go about moving a wordpress site?
