# Server Requirements for WordPress Multisite

 * Me and my friends are planning to start a WIX like company using wordpress multisite.
   I understand that it is a very complex and resource consuming task. We want to
   give it a start anyway:)
 * Now we are stuck on server requirements! How much of a server capacity will we
   need to run around 1000 sites with heavy plugins like buddypress, woocommerce
   etc.?
 * Will this dedicated server be enough?
 *  Intel E3-1271v3
    3.60 GHz Quad Core w/HT 30 GB RAM 2000 GB HDD in RAID 1 2 TB
   Transfer
 * Or is this server configuration too much for a starter? Currently the website
   is hosted on a shared server with just 1GB RAM and it is running 5 sites horribly!
 * Any help is appreciated!

   out there.
